Hi Ultimates,
Hope you're having a great start of your weekend!
Project Status & Expectations
Production
The production is still on its way. I had already expected the call for our Quality Control agent to be on site last week, but unfortunately the manufacturer had hit some delays which required them just a few more weeks.
Both myself and our purchasing agent have pressed onto the manufacturer the importance of delivering these products on time because we have thousand of people waiting for their very own dUltimate dice. The manufacturer is aware and wants to extend their apologies for these delays and is doing what they can without rushing to maintain a high standard of quality for these dice.
Though I am defiantly saddened by this delay, as I'm sure a lot of you are too, I have confidence in this manufacturer to actually make sure that the final result will be worth the wait!
Updated timeline:
Family visit
Just a few days ago we had some family visit us. After having heard about the dUltimate dice project before they asked me to see the dice. I took them out and was met by a flurry of questions such as; what these dice are for? why they are so heavy? how many games could one play with one of these dice? how are they made? how many are made? ...
After that intense but fun interrogation they were excited to choose one of the 5 samples ("be careful with those, since they are the only samples I have at the moment!") and created their own game on the spot which required each to roll their dice in turn shout out the numbers they got.
It was a great moment to actually see the dUltimate dice being used, even though it wasn't the exact use-case I had in mind while designing them 😅
The dUltimate dice game™ in action
Made me realize that I'm really hyped about shipping out the dUltimate dice soon, and hopefully seeing them in action via photos and social media!!
Moving soon?
Address changes can still be made by using your PledgeBox survey link. Before the dice will be shipped I'll send out a reminder for everyone to check their address information via mail/Kickstarter.
As always, for any questions and comments you can contact me at info@lenpolygon.com
Keep on rolling!
