Project Status & Expectations
The dUltimate dice have arrived

Boxes
Now the wait is mostly for the wooden boxes that will be shipped with every dUltimate dice and both keep the dice is pristine condition during shipping, but also look great as a display piece.
Due to Chinese New Year nothing really happened regarding the boxes in the past weeks. The boxes are finished and will be shipped off to the painter the upcoming week.
The wooden boxes with their hinges attached are wrapped and ready to be send off to the painter.
The supplier has let me know that they expect all boxes to be ready near the end of this month...
Timeline
which leads to the timeline. This depends on how the boxes will be shipped from the factory in China, to my place of residence in the Netherlands where the dice will be packages and shipped out.
The two shipping options are:
By plane: this is fast! but will probably be extremely expensive... however, if (and only IF) this can fit in the remaining budget of this project I will choose for this option which will allow shipping to start as soon as somewhere in April.
By boat: this is a much slower option, but it will fit the project budget even though shipping costs have increased due to trouble brewing around the Red Sea causing many cargo ships to be rerouted. In this scenario it is likely that the dice will arrive here (early) June allowing me to do the fulfillment during the nice and warm months of June and July.
Because the pallet sizes and weight will be known next week the factory will then be able to quote me pricing for both types of shipment. At the moment I honestly do not know what to expect for both options, but I'm hoping for the best - as always I will keep you all updated!

Address changes can still be made by using your PledgeBox survey link. Before the dice will be shipped I'll send out a reminder for everyone to check their address information via mail/Kickstarter.
